Default "New Posts"... with a twist...

I really like the "New Posts" button, but this forum is so large it's pretty much pointless to use.

I was thinking, what if there was a "New Posts" style link, that only showed threads with new posts in them, but only threads that I had posted in... I think that would be very useful.

Maybe I'm the only one that would use it, maybe it can't be done, maybe the administrators don't feel like doing it... Just a suggestion I'm throwing out there if it's simple to do and more people than myself would utilize it.

Just search for posts made by you, any threads that have new posts will be bold.

I'm not going to make a button that makes searches easier since they're one of the most intensive things on the forum as it is.

If you want something so specific you're going to have to work for it

new posts is all i use but i heard that if you become a paying member you can filter out certain forums (most of fs). This would take care of allllll issues i see.

Correct, Patrons can opt-out of certain forums from appearing in the New Posts link.

Yeah I know, searches are very intensive and that I can manually make my own search to do it... I think most people would find that more useful (if they use newposts at all or understand it) than the "New Posts" how it is now (which works GREAT for small volume forums.)

Yeah, hi, I don't think you comprehended the original post.

Good day,
