im tring to see what would be a better choose to put in my gsr block ..putting itr pistons or b16 pistons with my gsr rods....i have b16 head ima put on also with itr intake mani and itr camshafts

If they are USDM ITR (P73-A0) pistons, I would rather use the B16's.. If they are JDM ITR (P73-00) pistons, they are better than both PR3 and P30's...

What are your goals, you might want to consider using B16B pistons, they will give you an upper 12:1 ratio depending on the head and block machining...

It really depends on what you want.

 

I would say jdm itr pistons with the gsr rods to get a little higher compression from the pistons and a longer stroke from the gsr rods

 

jdm itr pistons would work out nice for you but i have ctr pistons in mine and its working out great for me. so whichever one you want to go with should work great i believe that ctr pistons give you a little higher compression than jdm itr

 

CTR pistons will give you a dramatic increase in compression over the JDM ITR's...
