Default Edge Evolution Programmer product review:

2004 Ford F150 FX4 5.4L Triton

Well; this first thing I'll tell you is if you have a vehicle that Edge offers a programmer for and you are still running a stock tune........you NEED to get one of these bad boys.

Quick, easy and painless to install........and works like a champ. Very easy to use and so many functions I can't even begin to start listing them. Even if your vehicle is completely stock; I would still reccomend one.

The difference in shifting was worth the price alone (I have that fly by wire crap; and the tranny shifts were lagging big time).

It has 3 different settings:

1. Transmission only
2. Towing
3. Performance

Nothing to modify other than what octane gas you're using. Just hit a button, turn the key a couple times and go. But; you can modiy individual settings in each of those three preprogrammed tunes for a more customized tune. Including limited top speed, RPM shifting at WOT, shifting at MPH under normal driving......

It plugs straight into the OBDII plug; so it's a good diagnostic tool as well; letting you read codes and reset them.

It will record reaction time, 0-60 as well as 1/8 and 1/4.............it even lights up like a drag tree (to get the reaction time).

I dunno what else to say. Well worth the money I spent on it (375 shipped overnight). I'll take some pics later.
