Default FS: 1988 Pontiac Fiero Formula

It's just time to move it to someone who knows more about vehicles/has the time and space to keep it. I'm going through college and I'd rather finish business school and advance my life than stay in this town with a car I don't know how to work on.

Name: Bryan
Location: Spotsylvania/Fredericksburg, VA
Phone: (540)845-2755
Email: bryanclindner@gmail.com
Miles: 123,xxx
1988 Pontiac Fiero Formula. Purchased @ 120,000 miles from RandomTask (Joe). It had a fastback conversion and Maaco paintjob when I bought it. Since then, I put a lot of time/effort into it. So here it goes.

~New Battery
~Took apart motor down to valve covers and replaced gaskets all the way up
~New Distributor, spark plugs, wires
~New Alternator
~Cleaned the SOB up...and that's a task within itself.
~Brand new suspension ALL AROUND. New KYB Shocks/struts from the Fiero Store as well as Fiero store lowering springs.
~All wheel alignment after it was lowered
~New system. It sports a Memphis 4-channel amplifier (50x4) behind the driver seat with a JL Audio 10" subwoofer behind the passenger seat in a custom box. Bridged power to the sub and stereo to new Memphis 4x10's in the dash with a new Alpine headunit running the Boston Acoustic 5x6's in the rear. Had a cable run to the center console for an iPod/iPhone to plug in and I use it daily. The system is loud and very reliable. No corners were cut doing any of this.
~Rear window tinted to 20%.
~Coolant flush/Fiero store lower degree thermostat installed.
~New Ultimate Dogbone
~Blue accent interior lighting installed and attached to a switch. The floors glow blue, looks pretty sick.
~New oil change with Penzoil 10W40 and STP
~BG44K was run when I got it
~Performance brakes in the front. I had the rears as well, just haven't installed
~Brought the factory wheels back to life with a thorough cleaning/repaint/polish.
~New brake pads.
~Rodney Dickman Cold Air Intake

Probably missed odds and ends.

Either way.

The bad:

~EGR is blocked off as most Fiero's are AND there's an exhaust leak at the EGR. I don't have time to fix it.
~Coolant, well, I'm not a good mechanic. I think I solved the air bubble problem as I've run it over 500 miles since I had one giant air bubble. I suggest whoever gets it does it themselves to know it got done right.
~Transmission is automatic. A bad from the factory.
~Tried to get it inspected but it got failed because he says the Upper Control Arm bushings need to be replaced. I ordered two from the Fiero Store not knowing there were four total. So you get 2 of the 4.

Random parts you will get upon purchase:

~The old front rotors (Still like new)
~New brake pads never installed (Thought I needed them, didn't know that my pads were already new..)
~Performance drilled brake rotors from the Fiero store for the rear.
~New window motors/felt guides. Thought I needed those too, but just needed to replace the alternator.
~All the boxes/guides to all of the audio equipment.

I paid a lot of money for these new parts and they've all been installed correctly. I'd LIKE to get my money back to some extent as I'm using this money to pay for school... so.

I paid $2,000 for the car inititally.
I paid over $3,000 in parts
Labor alone is more but I had a buddy who happens to be a professional everything when it comes to cars do it for me while I held lights and kept the music coming.

Starting price: Was set @ $4,500. Fiero enthusiasts showed me the light. Price lowered to $4,000 OBO.
Make an offer.

Any questions, comments, additional pictures, offers, anything. Just email/call me.

Also, no trades, please. As you can see I'm trying to pay tuition.

Thank you for looking!
