dumb e36 question

i have a e36 M3 rear bmpr, but only have the regular non m upper bumper belt trim.... should this fit on the M3 bmpr? ive been told both ways. thanx in advance

Your asking if the non-M 3-series trim molding will work on an M3 rear bumper? If so then yes it works

thats what i thought but all the guys on bimmerforums say opposite... wtf
