Help deciding which rotors to get for my gsr
Well its that time to get new rotors for my car. I am looking to get some new ones. I really dont know which route I should go. I would like to step it up to some drilled Brembos but I am not looking to spend 300 on just rotors when I can get stock OEM replacements for 100$ all the way around and I really dont know if it is worth it or not? I would like some of your $.02.
i mean unless you are planning on stopping on a dime, and having the most "beast" brakes out there, whats the point?
i mean, if you want to buy all new calipers, lines, fluid, master clyinder, pads, rotors then yeah i would say spend 300$ on rotors. But if you just have a motor swap, and need to replace your brakes, then go with some decent upgrades. My .02
IE: i have brembo blanks on my civic with PBR ceramic pads. and I plan on replacing my lines with stainless lines, i also plan on replacing my master cylinder, and my fluid.
i wouldnt spend 300$ on a set of rotors, and still have the stock everything else.
not worth it.

I have brembo blanks and ceramic pads with ss lines and Super blue brake fluid on my hatch.. and they stop it with no issues at all.
