ok mi cousin has a mirage that stalls when cold and idles high when hot. i decided to do a complete tune up wires, pligs, fuel filter, ect. i tried to get a book to get the diagnostic codes and was unable to get one. does anyone knows how to get the codes and the meaning of the codes. or does anyone know what might be the problem


PS. i allready told him to get a civic intead. LOL.

 

ok the code was multiple miss fire. does not make sence to me because all the ignition components have been replaced. any ideas?

 

Did you reset the computer after tuning it up? If not the old codes are still there. Also for the problem I would start out checking for a vacume leak. But it's just a start.

 

its the idle control valve on the trotle boby. the mitsubishi curse.
