Well the cobras tranny does work in 4th gear anymore. all my runs it popped out or grinded, so I was averaging 14.2-14.4. Looks like its time to replace her.

I ran the Z/28 to a 13.87@103.24 and took it easy. Then stepped up a notch, and ran a 13.48@103.86 mph, then a 13.59@103.54.

Now it was Nikki's turn. This was her very first time racing and did great. she took 2 practice runs one with me in the car, then anohter one. On her third run she ran a 13.7@91.76( she thought she crossed the traps and got out of it)

So yes her time was better then mine in the Snake. Looks like the cobra may be retiring until the tranny gets replaced.

 

sorry to hear about that. I have some porblems with my second gear but right now it still works

 

The cobra is still drivable, just cant shift at 6900 rpms into 4th gear

 

i cant shift quickly into my second gear. have to take my time with it.
