Default My 93 LS DYNO results from 10/29/03

Ok, so i just got my baseline dyno. I only have AEM CAI, Fuel pressure guage, and cut out resonator replaced by 2.5" piping from cat to muffler

I had 3 runs
121.3 Hp/108.2 Tq
120.6 Hp/107.4 Tq
123.3 Hp/110.1 Tq

I have some mods to do before i go back

oh yeah, its a 93 LS with 122xxx miles on it and it has had NO2 sprayed on it before me

good deal dude, you should get a fuel controller on your car and when you get more mods you will be able to either add or subtract fuel and possibly gain some more power and mess with the timing a bit and squeeze that ls for all its worth, haha.........on the subject of dynoing.....i was at ABACUS today with my buddy travis (Cynmyteg) and he has an ls with a custom turbo kit on it,SHAD was tuning the car with full exhaust and he made 238 hp and 213 ft lbs torque on 12-13psi on pump gas(93), with FULL EXHAUST, i think thats awesome, he did too, the car rips ass now......

123 HP? my old 4 banger had an intake and a cat back, and KNOW it didnt even put out that much. what a piece it was. good numbers on a high mileage engine with a couple mods and a rough past.

i have a vafc, but i'm trying to get an safc. When i go back after a few mods, i'll have an FPR , cam gears, and possibly injectors

is he running a stock motor or does he have any internals or a rebuild??? and what year LS is it???

no its stock, its a 94 ls, he has 170k miles on his motor, he has 310 injectors and a walbro fuel pump and vortech fmu for fuel delivery, and also an s-afc, i also have a completely stock ls turbo with hondata heatshield intake manifold gasket, 310 injectors, jackson racing fmu, fuel pump and s-afc and i made 261.2 hp and 228ft lbs torque on 13psi on pump gas(93), i have a 94 ls also but i swapped a 98 ls motor in my car , the motor had approximtaley 75k on it when i dynoed it last month, mine and his car differ a little bit on parts such as turbo, exhaust manifold and intercooler, but not much, ls motors are hosses baby.........
