i know a good amount of car guys on here are engineering majors so i wanted to hook you guys up first. I have available a drafting position in a small but reputable company in Reston designing military radio products. This is a good intro job to engineering and drafting/designing field. When theres no projects going on, in all honesty, it will be very laid back for you. I've been surfing the net the past couple of weeks (kekeke) . When there are new products being designed, you will need to demonstrate effective listening of what the product will consist of, accuracy and precision in your drawings, organization skills, responsibility, and most of all: pride in your drawings and designs. You will get excellent benafits and health insurance plan. I couldn't tell you what they are because i really dont care too much about it (lol) or paid any attention to it. The company is located somewhere you can do burn outs and donuts without any cops coming in and catching you so the location is great!

I will be resigning my position, after working a year here, sometime soon because i will be taking a summer class right smack in the middle of the day, plus im moving down to 757 for school over the fall. And of course, no one in the company, other than some of my friends know this yet. Please reply or PM me here if you show interest.

 

Is this like permanent FT or could you work out like a summer internship?? I’m an arch. major but drafting is all good.

 

permanent full time. What you could do is tell them you can do perm. full time. Two weeks before fall sem starts again, you tell them, "oopsies. i've changed directions in life again cya".
