Default Motorcycle riders in NOVA

Hey everyone, I went up to DMV today and took the knowledge exam for my motorcycle license, I passed it fine but unfortunately I am still required to hold my learners permit for 30 days...even though I am pretty confident I could pass the skills test right now.

I just wanted to find out if there are any local riders who go out for rides on the weekend that I could tag along with to get some more road experience, I am new to sport bikes (I rode dirt bikes for a couple years) so I am not looking for any crazy/extreme high speed kind of riding. But if anyone is up for a local cruise or anything so I could get some more experience please PM me or post up and let me know.

Thanks

On honda-tech.com there is about 5-10 people that have group rides in nova every week check it out in the motorcylce forum thye go alot and seem like pretty cool guys. Personally i rode 2 weeks with nothing then 1 week with nothing then 2 weeks with a permit all by myself both weeks. If your not doing anything wrong you have nothing to worry about unless something goes terribly wrong. Just travel on roads that there isn't many cars in later afternoon or early morning when there isn't as many cars.

http://www.msf-usa.org Signing up and taking this course will help you out, especially if you're new to riding. Also, if you pass the MSF, they will give you a waiver to take to the DMV so you won't need to take the skills test.

What bike did you get for your first one?
