B18C5 ITR swap
ok ill be ordering my swap next week but one thing i need to know. someone mentioned that the type r axels are bigger the the usdm gsr axels so that means the jdm type r wont fit in my gsr hubs. would i have to just use usdm gsr axels???????????
i don't see why they would send 36mm. i would think they save those for their jdm 5 lug conversions, but they might. if they do send the 36mm just use your stock gsrs. and i thought c5's were usdm?

if your getting a b18c5 swap, you dont need to worry about jdm type-r axles then
BTW I have a lot of parts for sale that will go on that engine nicely if your looking. Check under my for sale thread. Cams, TB, ect...

if your getting a 96-97 spec type-r motor, the axles will work
if your getting a 98 n up motor, the axles will be an issue.look below on these
GSR/SI 4 lug = 32mm (inner and outer)
CTR/USDM 5 lug/96-97 JDM spec = 32mm (inner and outer)
98 n up JDM ITR = 36mm outer 32mm inner
if you are 4 lugged, only the half shaft(intermediate) off the jdm itr axles will work, you will need to use 93-97 vtec delsol/99-00 si or any integra outers. I have heard if you use 4x 114 prelude hub and spline and it will work, but im not sure
if you are usdm 5 lugged, basically the same thing as above, unless you use the hub off a 97 + Prelude which also uses 36mm axles
if you have the jdm 5 lug convertion i wouldnt do it, its just too much pita to always try to locate new axles, or to have custome ones made
