My 1990 Nissan 240SX Fastback
My 240SX's speedometer is a bit odd. It doesn't like to work, it just kinda chills at 115mph or 0mph, or it will kinda dance along with my Tach or kinda kick in and say I'm doing 75mph on the highway when I'm moving with traffic.
I brought it to Hall Nissan here on Western Branch Blvd. and they say it's a worn out speed sensor, and my estimate they gave me is $275 for parts and labor. Is this some crazy over the top price their giving me here, or does that sound correct at all? Do any of you all know how to work with that kinda stuff?
Their raplacing my automatic seatbelt assembly for free, but that's cuz it's under lifetime warranty, but $275 for work on my speedometer, what do you all think?
