Default lowered car inside wear problem ?

Hey guys, i have a 00 gti vr6 an i have it lowered prolly like 1" to 1.5 with blustein springs....an 225/40/18 tires....the inside of my tire must be hitting the shock or somthing o the inside because all i smell is burned rubber when i drive an i can see the mark its leaving...the car doesnt look like it needs a camber kit because the tires arent bending in...but im not sure

could anyone let me kno what i should try?....camber kit? or maybe wheel spacers if there is a thing....plez need help i dont want to ruin the new tire i just put on....thanx

oh...and when replacin the tire i saw that the spring an the bottom part kinda had a bunch of like rubber dust i guess from the old one and the spring color is blue an the side of it on one part the paints worn off
.....i think the tire just needs alil more space from the shock...but i dont kno what will do that

Let me guess, they aren't the stock wheels and they're wider than stock or the backspacing is different.
