Yeah if your car is lowered, its illegal, period. Any modification from standard factory, its ticketable, sucks but thats the way it is, id pay it and move on, its not a moving violation and doesnt effect your driving record.

 

show me the code that says this. Your thinking of the exaust law,(which was changed to be more broad and cover more) not height. Modified suspention is legal if it's safe, ie no cut springs and safe height for accidents. Stop spreading missinformation without proof to back it up.

 

well the law has been busting people for a while now like years but when ever i get pulled they tell me to raise it to what the law is 14-22 inches and this is Officer nash and duket Chesterfield cops and but i was never told by a cop that i need to remove the aftermarket shit. plus on the code it only states the range of the height of the vehicle by the bumper beam. doesn't say anything about the modification.... the code is on the 1st page of this thread.

 

That's a reckless ticket not a suspension ticket. Most people have other shit to do than fight the court about their illegal honda. Pay the fine and get the fuck over it.

Well if you read my thread you would know why i posted this and why im arguing about this situation. I'm not paying for shit when my car is legal height according to the VA code "46.2-1063" on altered suspension when he's measuring it from the wrong place.

Example of why you don't just take it from the law: if you are wrongfully accused of something that matters, like theft, are you just going to admit guilt? (paying the fine admits guilt)
