very very good gun! I love it. I think you will be very happy and if you are not pm me and I will prob buy it from you.
I am not really versed on guns that much.. I was looking at a Rock Island .45 . I was told that it was a pretty decent gun. Not to expensive but well crafted for the money. I liked the way it felt but I didnt purchase it that day... and it was gone the next... I am still kicking myself for not buying it then. I didnt like the Glocks or Para Ordinace's because of the double stack clips. Makes the grips too wide. I dont feel like I have enough control of the gun. I guess to each their own.
It wasn't a bad choice at all. It's hard to go wrong with 14+1 rounds of .45ACP. The only thing I don't like about the XDs is their DAO trigger pull. It's not a bad thing at all, just not for everyone. I admire the fact that Springfield adopted the grip safety from the 1911. In my opinion, every handgun should be equipped with that feature.
So, looked over the gun show saturday real quick and about to head up there again to talk this guy down on an AR-15. wish me luck!
p.s. 50rds of .40S&W reloads was $12 @ Georgia Arms so I don't know where jesizzle is getting 1000rds for $50 lawlz

do yourself a favor and stay away from Georgia Arms reloads. I bought 200 rounds of 9mm from them and over 10% of the cases were cracked. I made the mistake of not double checking them before I shot a few.
I will. When I saw the price was only $1 difference between Georgia Arms reloads and the factory Remington, I'd spend the extra $1 for non-reloads.
