b-16/18/20 or h22
F22B + Eclipse Turbo Kit = Cheap ass HP...as I recall it was beating LS/VTEC (CRX) for a while, as well as B20VTEC (93 Civic) and all the other all motor set ups in P-Town...and that was in an accord....
dont nobody care about p-tracks car steve. just kidding that shit does scoot, and its a diffrent swap.
i heard the f22 in stock condition is not so great but when you turbo it, makes it really come out of it's shell. i also heard that the block is alot stronger than an h22 block and it can hold alot more boost. is that true? will the h22 swap mounts work for a f22 setup?(i think they will)would be a different swap that is easy to find in the junk yard for cheap. is there a stock manifold that a turbo can bolt to or use an adapter plate like the crx hf mani.with the t25 adapter.
Patricks car was fast because of the all motor like powerband that the little turbo produced. He made equal hp and equal torque.
Tims car vs Patricks car at the track slick for slick... It'd be a full second difference between the two with that little doo doo brown crx coming out on top.
The b20vtec, Darrel? If so, then duh.
But your right. Do it. Just get tuned, because if not, you'll be loosing to bone stock b16as in hatchbacks....

Our buddy did this.
He found a DSM that was turbo'd in a junkyard.
Pulled the hotside piping, manifold, and turbo from the car. Redrilled the holes for the manifold and it lined right up to the F22b.
The car was very very strong w/ this setup. Went 13.0s in a full body accord. Open diff w/ some slicks, that IIRC were 22in when he needed something like 24s.
thanx this all helpful information but i still need to know if the f22 will bolt in with the h22 mounts. because if i was to do this swap i will turbo it but i would still want to put a h22 in it so i don't want to do this swap if i am going to have to swap out a lot to do this. the only reason i would like to do the f22 first is to get it running to build up the weak points on the car before the h22 is the exuast manifold inter changable from the h22 to f22 and is the engine mounts going to work if so that will be my choice then i will start to get what i need if it wont work i will go h22.(i know the ecu will be different and the wireing will be different)but if it's more then it isn't worth it to do a f22
