yeah....they did have the safc on the car. with the fuel upgrades and what not...it was pretty necessary.

Pretty impressive that you can go that far with just an safc. I took a different route already for engine management. I think a standalone is pretty unnecessary unless you want a bigger turbo though. It does let you raise the rev-limit for those big cams, and add a little timing in there too. We need a awd dyno in the 757. I'm tired of driving up to maryland. I'm just going to invest in my own tuning equipment, wideband commander and a good knocklink

Not too bad... I wasn't super impressed with it, but it's still a hott car. Has anyone seen the specs for the new Porsche Carrera GT, holy shit is that car hott as all hell... I would kill everyone on drag just to own that car, but $440,000 is a little bit out of my price range.

stock ECU will go a LONG way... hell... bushur's talon ran 8s on a VPC..

people routinely make 500+ whp on EVOs and DSMs with SAFCs..

AMS is over 500hp on their stock block EVO VIII

Desolate_Flux,
Where in Great Bridge do you live? I don't think that I have seen you around. I drive a silver BMW M Coupe, give me the finger or something if you see me around. And we can race or something

Those guys are local and they would. Sure the average 16 year old in a CRX with a fartcan would lose. Heck even a bone stock 5.0 might but QUITE A FEW FOLKS in the local area would humiliate an Evo on the interstate.

Evo/STI are very nice cars.

But I cant imagine paying 30-33k for a 4cyl. No matter what it was.

Does the Evo8 even have a radio? I read somewhere that it doesnt. Must be an option.

$32k + 4cyl + no radio = ....

Cobra...34k. mmmm.

The STi is the one that doesnt come with a radio. It is a dealer installed item.
