Help Save Our Sport!!!
I'm not saying that this bill is right or wrong, but the companies will adjust accordingly eventually. I'm all for kids having fun, but the reducing the amount of lead in anything is at least a good step forward for the environment. Every time some legislation comes around to "threaten" any large automotive company everyone bitches and whines (Oh god how are we supposed to make our vehicles MORE efficient, you're killing us!) and then painlessly changes a little for the better. I'm sure there will be some crazy loophole they can jump through anyways (Perhaps a ring of fire?). Of course if it keeps shitty china-cycles out of the US, then all the better.
Though I'm glad the AMA is doing something beside whining how helmet laws are taking away our "freedom."

i heard about this, and it's absolutely crazy. As I was told, dealerships have already been told to pull childrens dirtbikes/atvs from showroom floors.
To anyone that's not already an AMA member.... you should be. If they can pull this off, who do you think they're going to be targeting later on down the road?
US!!
I for one, grew up riding dirtbikes around the woods/swamps around my house, and would never be where I am now or know what I know now if it wasn't for that start. It's not fair to deny present and future generations the right to do the same.

The act is already in effect.
This explains why i didn't see any at the bike shop today I took my girlfriends son in just knowing he would be able to sit on one. He loves my bike and I wanna teach him to ride, now what???
