i have the i/c installed, but the rest of the kit has yet to go in...as far as a waste of time and money, i can't say i agree with that.

Upgrading your Pistons and Rods. I am not sure about teh 420a and the 4g63 but The New eclipse and Galant engines have a farely decent internal setup. but they can be upgraded with JE pistons and Crower rods.(for the 4G64)

I would have to say the turbo would be better than any supercharger only because the SC needs power(your Pulleys) to produce power, where as the turbo setup you can customize it alot more and it takes power that you already (exaust) have and creates more

Screw a sc. Get a turbo, better efficency. Plus a properly designed turbo setup wont have to much lag. A wastegate is what allows the exhaust gas to bypass the turbine once the disired boost level is achieved. An internal one is integrated into the turbo. An external one is not. Generally an external one is better, but whether or not you need one really depends on the use.

And about the intercooler, you say it like its a bad thing? At the same boost level a sc would need a IC more then a turbo. And you would also have to upgrade the internals with a sc if your running the same boost as a turbo. In fact, due to poorer efficency, you would be more likely to need to with a SC at the same boost level.

go turbo....


im not sure who makes a good kit for dsms......
but turbo is definitely the way to go.
