would any of you...
yeah, i've done sales and am currently in sales but nothing like cars. what i sell is easy...people come to me, they need it, i quote em, and if they don't like it...peace out. we'll get more service from someone else. bikes/cars is more of a 'want' issue than a 'need'
first, you'll never get rich working at a bike dealership, you'll make more money at a car dealership, but also probably work more hours, where a bike dealership your almost always going to have sundays and mondays off... also your discount on parts and the hook ups you will meet will save you alot of money... i wouldn't work anywhere based on sales though, when i was at honda if they didn't sell they were gone, and if they didn't sell they made no money, where i'm at now he gets paid salary so he doesn't feel like he has to push whatever bike he will make more money on, he can be honest... bike dealerships are fairly low stress, really fun places to work generally... so i'd recommend one unless you have a chance to make big money doing something else, but me, i wouldn't want to do anything else
not sure if that helps, i gotta go in a sec so i'm just kind of rambling fast, but all in all i'd recommend it, granted you have job security and you aren't pressured to sell

do u have to work full-time or can you also work part-time, cuz im still in school so i was wondering if theres anyway to work part-time as a salesman or anything really at a dealership
they offered me the job but i gotta turn it down. commission only. looking for something more on the lines of product knowledge and spec differences etc...but salary =) oh well.
