I love German cars alot more then my honda... but my honda doesn't break as much....=) but my C runs, just insurance is high...so i keep him hidden for now. it will make it's come back...but in the Mountains/canyons of Southern California. that's where it is now.

Don't get too excited about a 1.8T swap ... most are drive by wire and not feasible for a swap ( i said most , not all ) where as the VR6 was available in A3s and Passats . You can snatch a 2.0 16V from the Passat ( or if you are super lucky , a 2.0 16V GTI ... no swap required ! ) . The 2 guys that come to mind that have ballistic A2s are both running ABA 2.0 8Vs fed by turbo . And of course , Vann in his VR6 A2 .
