Same motor as the VW 1.8T, but tuned a lil higher (about 190 hp with stock everything). Use the chip from APR (Audi Performance Racing), which will bump you up about 20-30 hp if I remember correctly. APR Stage III+ turbo upgrade kit. 3" exhaust from turbo back with a Remus muffler. some BBS wheels, Neuspeed race springs with Bilstein shocks or Koni Yellows.

That would be a solid VW setup. You're talking a lot of money, but a car in the range of 400 hp.
Thanx for the input .....I'm Prolly not gonna spend a lot of money It'l prolly just be a semi fast trailer queen something I can drive while my S12 isnt Street legal......then i'll sell it to some high school kid or something...lol....Hey congrats on the truck but you better learn to drive it before you try to race it......lol...that SR20 will get out from under you quick......

YOu don't need to go with the super charger...yuo can swap out a 1.8T or swap the supercharger for a turbo. I love German cars alot more then my honda... but my honda doesn't break as much....=) but my C runs, just insurance is high...so i keep him hidden for now. it will make it's come back...but in the Mountains/canyons of Southern California. that's where it is now.
Its also an option but the corrado's are a lil more money than i want to spend chassis wise.....But if i can find one cheap thats my #1 choice....Love the body style.....

A2 , VR6 , no bling ! Winning combo !
A2 , ABA , turbo ! Winning combo !
A2 , built 16V ! Pretty nice setup !
A2 , CIS 8V ! We can wait up for ya !
A2 , Digifant 8V ! Still waitin ....
A2 , G60 zoom zoom ( oh yeah , that's Mazda ! sorry )
A2 , 16V G60 ..... HOLY FUCKING SHIT !!!
Do it in a 2door Jetta and attain pimp status !!
Do it in an A1 and bump everything up 1 notch !!
Do it in a 2door A1 Jetta and feel like the KING OF THE WORLD !Avoid the cabby ( unless you have tits )

Don't get too excited about a 1.8T swap ... most are drive by wire and not feasible for a swap ( i said most , not all ) where as the VR6 was available in A3s and Passats . You can snatch a 2.0 16V from the Passat ( or if you are super lucky , a 2.0 16V GTI ... no swap required ! ) . The 2 guys that come to mind that have ballistic A2s are both running ABA 2.0 8Vs fed by turbo . And of course , Vann in his VR6 A2 .

why not get an E30 M3?

well if you wanna go dub i'd go with the Sc'd 1.8 in the GTI. but then again that's just my opinion.
