If you don't mind me iquiring then.....


...so, assuming the engine is constructed correctly and tuned properly with a mild stage 1 or stage 2 head, what can you expect to see out of a 12:1 compression B16, horsepower and torque-wise?

(AND I know it depends on a lot of different variables; I'm looking for a relative estimate if possible)

I ran a ls vtec b18a1/b16 and ran arias 12.5:1 pistons and like jarrod said it was a bitch keepin it quiet, I would run 93 oct. and either put about a gallon of cam in it or run some octane booster on each tank to keep it from pingin, but it ran its balls off, im not a n/a fan, but with the setup I had it was hard to fuck with
