I'm sorry to hear about this happening. This is yet another reason why I think drinking should be made illegal again, people don't know how to handle their shit (be responsible).

mandatory jail time is required for a first offense, not this fines and suspended sentence bullshit. spend a week in jail, lose your job, lose your license for a year (at least), and have to rely on the friends you have left to get around town. need a deterrent, not a penalty.

 

At the same time this is a prime example of people taking cycles for granted and not wearing the proper gear. My heart goes out to Robbie and I hope that bitch gets what she deserves. I almost lost my leg myself from infection so I really feel for him.
