hmm think of it this way...

we have affirmative action now to... equal the races. the races were not 'equal' a while back and some blacks and other minorities did not have the opportunities to attend schools because of the inequality within the races. no one argues that there was a racism problem back in the day. it was obvious. however, now there is another inequality within the races. a black kid gets chosen over a more qualified white kid to go to a school. that is an inequality, just like it was before.

my question is, when i, a white guy, am a minority in this country (probably pretty soon) will i get to participate in this affirmative action playground? because... im a minority you know. i have rights.

a few months ago i saw a phone book labeled 'the black book'... a book with only black operated businesses. tell me that is not inequality. racists. funny how people can hang all these flags from their rear views but i cant have my dixie flag on my rear windshield without some dumb ignorant fuck calling me a racist.

It's actually illegal to hang anything from your rearview mirror when driving as it is considered an obstruction of view.

 

actually, reuter, i did hang the red, white, and blue from my rearview at one time (hey what can i say? i'm a geek! a damned patriotic one!!!) but it got into my sightpath too often, so...

your 90% right haha. actually i honestly don't think aff action makes that big of a diff. to me it just seems like if race had something to do with you no getting a job then you have a case.

as for the whole white becoming a minority thas true. i mean its a fact of life that years down the road everyone is gonna brown out. well......maybe not asians hahah but anyway you don't have to worrie about that anytime soon and by that time who cars everyone wil be on the list. we will be fighting over stupid stuff like eye color

As for that whole black thing. hell let them have it. who cares it keeps them from complaining. i rather let them have the black book so they can shop at the black stores and not hold up the line because the white cashier is trying to take their money (worked at foodlion in the sticks, happend atleast once a day.)

but then again its a double standard because if they had a "spanish book" or what ever i'd be really happy... i mean. i guess its diffrent as we come from a diffrent counrty and we offten use and eat things we can't get in normal stores. As well as our music...... oh well its life stuff just is how it is. talking about this stuff makes me sound raceist
