Airbags to pass inspection?
The SRS light has to indicate it is functional during the "bulb check test"
If your air bag system has been disabled, then it will pass. But, next year it is going to change back to the it has to work law.
The state trooper is even sitting right next to me as I type this, he is doing his monthly check up at our facility.

That trooper might want to read his own inspection manual that I have to refer to everyday. The bulletin is very clear that the light must be disabled. If the system is disabled, then how is the "bulb check test" going to work? It's either gonna flash, stay on, or not come on at all if the system is disabled.
No it doesn't. Refer to state inspection bulletin #330. As long as airbags are removed or deployed, and Airbag warning light is disabled. IT WILL PASS! I have the state inspection book right in front of me.
