If your air bag system has been disabled, then it will pass. But, next year it is going to change back to the it has to work law.

The state trooper is even sitting right next to me as I type this, he is doing his monthly check up at our facility.

That trooper might want to read his own inspection manual that I have to refer to everyday. The bulletin is very clear that the light must be disabled. If the system is disabled, then how is the "bulb check test" going to work? It's either gonna flash, stay on, or not come on at all if the system is disabled.

So disable the bulb would unplugging the light be the correct way?

Yes, and the airbags must be removed.

just splice into the cel light,so that they both come on and then go off.that away you will pass.

No it doesn't. Refer to state inspection bulletin #330. As long as airbags are removed or deployed, and Airbag warning light is disabled. IT WILL PASS! I have the state inspection book right in front of me.

Cool. So now I can pass. I have the light, both bags and the brain removed. Nice. I dont have to get a waiver from vdot now. thats awsome.
