yes/no. if you do the intro group through nesba you are only required a leather jacket and two pairs of jeans. this intro group is free and is (2) 20 minute sessions and includes a small class session. if you decided to do the full day then you have to have full leathers and if its a two peice it has to zip 360* around your waist.

i think they also rent leathers if im not mistaken?

I'm waiting to take the Cornerspeed school before any trips to the track. Hopefully by that time I'll have enough $$ saved up for gear and tires for the 500.

$165 a day, plus $75 membership fee if you arent one.

edit: or the intro sessions are free and are two 20 minute sessions. you dont have to be a member either.
