then you take the high interest like a man for the last little while. That's what i did when i bought my prelude. i think i'm gonna end up paying about 2 months of interest total. then again, he is talking about a 10k-30k car and not a honda.

Get a loan for a longer period of time than you plan to pay it off and pay it off early.

Last time I took a loan out for an old car I had to pay % at the personal loan/boat/luxury item level.

i do own a house but do not want to take out a home equity loan or refinance or anything like that. i have bought an older car before using a personal/lux item loan from my bank and the intrest rate was at 10% but you have to pay it off in 3 years. 20k over 3 years is to high of a monthly payment for me. i may try the credit card though since i have one that is at 10% and a new one that is intrest free for a year.
btw im looking for excellent condition porsche 944t's(951), 993's(i can only afford an NA one ) or a 928s4 fivespeed in perfect condition, and yes i only want a black one of either car.

I meant Grand National. "you can have any color, as long as its black".

But I guess Porsches are almost as cool.

Get a 930 turbo. <3
