i have yes, its a 46 trim compressor still a 76mm compressor but the inducer is smaller. It is a mismatch with the small 57mm turbine but not that bad since the air just cant get in through the small inducer. plus the GTseries turbines are so well in flowing air anyway.

Exducer is the full outside diamter of the compressor, the inducer is the part that you see as the inlet of the turbo which is smaller diameter. The smaller the trim, the greater the difference in diameter relationships of exducer vs. inducer diameters

for instance the 56 trim GT40 compressor. 3.22" exducer 2.44 inducer

now lets do a T04e 46trim (not the same as the 46trim GT series) 2.95" exducer to 2.003" inducer.

but i have heard the same things about the GT25r' probably stemming from the opinionated email from a garret engineer, Rob Cadle. people on the 240 list have used them with no real dislikes. But take this into the equation that these are people that only buy one turbo, theres no comparison going on, only paper spec comparisons.

You need you a GT2835 for 350-400hp max or a special build Precision Turbo. Tell them the hp goal and they tell you a turbo to get. What is your hp goal? at what boost?

Haha, Rob Cadle, he is the man. I have read alot of stuff from him. My hp goals are to be able to get over 300 whp at the drag strip when I crank up the boost. It also needs to have minimal lag and work well at low boost pressures, as I will be autox'ing with it. Basically I want something like a T28, but that can make another 30 or 40 hp.

ive never seen any real good hard numbers for this turbo. i saw someone on one board that had a sr20 with one. at first they didnt like it, but it grew on them and they loved it. i dont think they posted any numbers for it. there has only been one ive seen for an mr2 so far. the numbers on that one would not be consistant with the norm because of several problems the car was having at the time. in the next few weeks there should be about a dozen reviews of them tho...
