agreed' its more for drivability though, to be able to drive your car daily without having to worry about ripping out an oil pan or busting up subframe, rubbing paint off your car and all that jazz. if you look in the picture, both of the jettas are actually resting on the dogbone (trans mount) so it is impossible for them to go any lower they are "laying frame" basically on a unibody car !

Im just used to seeing cars layed out. one of my good friends car lays floor pan in his unibody car.
as for the buick, a guy in rpm has a black grad national he is actually about to get rid of
Yeah, our motors just wont let us go that low, unless we use the hockey puck trick and lift the motor mounts up about another 1" or so, even then the tranny mount would be all out of wack
