Cool 2005 Pontiac GTO

Description: 2005 Pontiac GTO , 96,200 miles, 6 speed manual, 6.0 ls2, midnight blue metallic , one of 114 one year only color with that combination. It has the SAP grille inserts(rare) I have had this car for eight years and its just time for something different. The oil has always been changed every 7500 miles with Mobil 1 5w30. Mods are koni yellow adjustables, eibach lowering springs, drag bags, Edelbrock shorty headers, JBA high flow cats, Flowmaster exhaust, AEM cai, SLP skipshift eliminator, Diablo SLP 455hp tune and handheld, Aeromotive dual scanguages, Lou's shortshifter, whiteline urethane rear cradle , insert, hid foglights, drilled&slotted rotors, choice of Beyern mesh wheels or sportmax 962, both staggered setups. I will include factory 18s with full price offer. Absolutely no trades unless it's a Lotus! The title is clear no liens. Cash or certified check only!

You're kidding right?

7500 miles between oil changes... with standard oil... Please tell me you're not trying to use that as a selling point.

Did you at least change the filter more often than the longest possible recommended oil change interval?

No what sold me is the fact that the inside of that engine probably looks like chocolate syrup. How the hell did you think 7500 miles between oil changes was ok?

The recommended oil change interval on my BMW is 10,000 miles or 12 months, I'm not sure of the interval on the LSx? It sounds bad, but the dealership said that's the design.

There is no recommended oil change interval, there is an oil life system that will indicate when the oil needs to be changed that is based on driving conditions,engine rpm and engine temperatures. With the low mileage I put on it (less than 10k per year) the recomendation is at least once per year. Synthetics have come a long way.
