You're kidding right?

7500 miles between oil changes... with standard oil... Please tell me you're not trying to use that as a selling point.

Did you at least change the filter more often than the longest possible recommended oil change interval?

No what sold me is the fact that the inside of that engine probably looks like chocolate syrup. How the hell did you think 7500 miles between oil changes was ok?

Awesome mr nazi mod, thanks for your negative comments on my for sale post. Glad you know the rules as much as you are an oil genius

The recommended oil change interval on my BMW is 10,000 miles or 12 months, I'm not sure of the interval on the LSx? It sounds bad, but the dealership said that's the design.

Re: 2005 Pontiac GTO

There is no recommended oil change interval, there is an oil life system that will indicate when the oil needs to be changed that is based on driving conditions, engine rpm and engine temperatures. With the low mileage I put on it (less than 10k per year) the recomendation is at least once per year. Synthetics have come a long way.
