Still working on this......
It's hard to comunicate with the guy at the track,as I have a hard time getting through to him while I'm at work, and then when he calls me back I'm too busy to answer.
I was hoping to do this in December, but between several people not having cars ready yet and the fact that the dates are filling up for next month,it looks like this will have to be done in February.

I'll keep watching the calender(as of now,February is empty),and if dates start getting taken,I'll then figure out a date to get money by.Basically, everybody interested in this, please try to set some money aside to have ready so we can get this done quickly when the time comes.I'm trying to give everybody as much time as possible to get cars and funds ready.I'd love to get Christmas out of the way,but I'm worried the dates will start filling up before then.

Updates to come.

February would be much better for me than December at this point. (more PTO for work, More time to collect money, and maybe boost the car)

VIR Grand isnt going to work. Even if I get the car back I wont have the money to do the event Pretty bummed about that one but maybe next year.
So I'm thinking of hitting up CMP in the next month at one of their open track days.

I'd be down for this too! Mainly drift but I could probably get by with some grip stuff if need be. The patriot course for everything still wouldn't be bad of we can't get enough for the main course. They do time attacks and stuff on it, small scale but could still be fun for some unhindered on-track time! Plus I know I could get my Honda Challenge driver and race car down to shake it down for next season!

Yeah,Patriot is perfect for drift, but after doing Grand earlier this week I know I wouldn't be satisfied with only the infield.
I've got a couple variables affecting all this, one being when I pull the head off the car this weekend to see how much money I've got to spend(blown headgasket=good to go.......cracked head or block=fucked)to fix it,and I've also got to see when the first Trackdaze event is(if it's the usual last February/first March weekend that could affect it).

When all this gets figured out I'll be talking to everybody to see if we want to do North,or spend the extra money for Full.I'd hate to lose the uphill esses, but it's just so much more for basically only that addition(other than the back straight, but fuck straightaways, haha).

We've also got the option of opening it up to more than 12 drivers to lower the overall cost.Even at 20 drivers you'd get about as much track time as a typical two day event. The main thing is I just want to keep it to people I know and who mostly have prior experience to minimize any headaches.

So,you own a HC team/driver?

Nah I don't own it by any means..he's a friend of mine and I crew chief for the car in H2 for NASA Northeast (and some Midatlantic). A new car is being built now and the first event tentatively planned was the march NASA event at VIR so a track day before then to get the suspension, tires and such dialed back in would be amazing and make my job so much easier!

The amount you said before for just Patriot course, what did that include and/or what was it lacking? (Interested for possible future drift events)

Oh,nice!Didn't realize that was you,Tim.It'd be awesome to have as many full track Hondas there as possible.
The price for patriot was all inclusive for up to six drivers. It's $150 more per driver over six. It's not bad at all,as that's totally affordable for six people.I just feel like Patriot is too small for most non-drift stuff, and the stupid additional fees for Full and for more than six drivers may put the larger courses out of some people's budgets.
Either way,I'll include you in the group as I get more info.
