the car is a 90 civic si hatch, but has a d15 motor i believe... (had a swap once, then a stock civic motor put back in it) but anyway the ecu red light is flashing 5 times, then pause, then 5 more flashes, pause, 5 more flashes.. and so on...... what does this mean?

 

Code 5 = MAP sensor

 

thanks, i went n bought the book, picked up a map sensor from a junkyard on a scrap 90 hb... its not an Si like mine, and the motor is d16a6 by the way, i stated it wrong before.... but anyway that seems to have solved the problem. faulty damn map sensor.... now i just have to fix the head gasket leak, adjust the timing, and i think she will be running decently enough to save the motor for now and work on body and suspension.
