so i cut one bracket etc. and mad it a few mill longer.. and it works fine now

i know my welding skills arent the best haha.. its a cheap welder

haha im poor till next paycheck. just finished paying my truck off and now gotta pay for liscense reinstatement since i get that shit back soon, inspection, emissions etc.

i mean does it have to be perfect? hell no.. its a drift car and ill probally fuck it up and dent it anyways... i just want it to look okay from a distance.. thats why im painting the hood a flat color haha

plus that pic is without primer, if i get a good self etching primer, some sanding. and a good top coat, it should look lots better

Tie rod spacers let the rack extend more before hitting the stops.

It's not about tie rod length.

yea what he said. More steering angle occurs when the rack extends out both ways farther than normal due to the spacers.

3rd attempt came out GREAT... just needs some fillign and filing down, maybe a under layer to add more rigidity

this is 2 layers of fiberglass cloth

i left some slack on the cloth so i can add resin and have it so i can bolt it to under where the hood is
