1984 datsun s12 200sx drift build
im david, 18 now. started all this at 17
hail from manassas va
heres a basic rundown of the RUNNING hatches
got the blue hatch as a drift build last year... not knowing ANYTHING. not even how to change my brakes. i was just determined LOL.
i went and got it in NC
400 dollars non running
pulled the engine after about 3 months... which was very difficult for me not knowing wtf was going on nor having good tools
all of this work is done by me, exception for diff being welded, suspension being welded, and seat beaing welded. i pay a friend because i dont trust my welds... i do like exuast stuff haha
total cash spent around $800 bux

Drivetrain:
h190 solid rear axle bitches!
ka24 transmission
custom poly trans mount to use ka trans
welded differential
newish replacement clutch haha
frankinstein s13/s12 driveshaft combo
suspension:
rear billstein shocks, home made seperated coilover using random coil springs, and metal tubing
front random lowering springs on stock shocks
(but, i do have a full s13 swap with Q45 brakes, just no coilovers yet)
engine:
KA24E swap with 130 k miles previously auto now manual
random cold air intake with k n filter shoots through car under the battery tray
home made 2.5/3 inch exaust to HKS muffler
removal of lots of egr crap
replaced rear main seal and other small gaskets
e fan
jumper harness for ca20e to ka24e
interior:
racing wheel (not installed yet waiting on hub in mail) dont know brand
momo seat
4 point sparco harness
fresh new automotive home-made carpet
rear is stripped, and lined,
battery relocated to rear
new oem headliner from california parts dealer
new oem door panels from dealer
home made rear strut tower bar out of gas piping
fully professionally dyed black interior, the dash, all the plastic
switch board for hard line pump/e fan
exterior:
200sx SE front lip
riken mesh rims
gangster red hood with cat poking out of it..
tilted hood to accomidate engine height
some gangster hoodpins

heres the rear home made suspension that works really well
cut, rewelded exuast, so it isnt too low
my second time welding XD

first time drag racing... lol i suck
not bad for a 40 dollar engine... plus i spun lots o tires no grip on a drift car. im 57
drifting this bitch first time sunday!!!!!
