Default 93' Civic Motor won't start

Name: Alex
Location: Newport News

So I am swapping motors (LS and a mini me D15 bottom/ D16 head) between cars, both of which are eg hatches and both of the motors ran when I took them out. I put the mini me swap into the car and now it wont start, the motor turns over and is getting fuel. I have a sneaking suspicion that there is a problem with the ECU so if anyone can lend a hand and let me test out their ECU that would be awesome. BUT for the sake of not knowing does anyone have any other ideas of what the problem could be?

Thanks in advance

Probably a wiring or sensor problem. Also check the grounds. When you say "won't start" do you mean "won't crank" or "won't run"?

I don't see why it would be a wiring problem just took it from one eg and put it in another. I guess it could be a sensor problem but as stated it ran before I swapped it. (Which sensor are you thinking) The grounds (by the valve cover and tranny) are both hooked up.

You think or know that it is not getting spark. You need to either hold a test light inside of one of the plug wires or put a plug in the wire and ground it to the valve cover while some one tries to start the car to make sure that you have spark.

Report back when you know with out a doubt that you do or don't have spark.
