If they are a good size I would try to pull em out first. Especially if you plan on using bondo. If you fill the whole dent with bondo it will begin to crack as the body flexes under normal driving conditions.
Like stated before, bondo isnt the best stuff to use anymore.

Bondo Brand is deff not good to use at all. Other brand "Body Fillers" work fine as long as you prep it right and use it correctly, that's where people mess it up.
If anything, you should just take the money to a professional to get it done right.

What a question! I mean if you cut your car in 1/2 and try to put it back together I sure it could get quite difficult, but if you are trying to fix a minor rust spot on the corner panel or something it will not be TO hard.
just to cut and replace the roof will cost almost 1700
