You shouldn't have any issue getting on base with a jacket with the reflective striping. Most have it included somewhere.

you can get away with a white long sleeved shirt durring the day, however, i would reccomend more gear than that. i use to wear a vest like you see road crews wearing over my jacket.

Different bases have different requirements colors, size of reflective patches, New River down here in Jacksonville makes you wear an actual jacket where as a few miles down the street Camp Lejeune you can use only a long sleeve bright shirt but only what they say is bright

there are other com. that make milspec vest like vega that are cheaper then ICON. I sell the vega milspec for 47.95. come on up here and I may just give you a better deal hope that helps

Seen as how he is in Sunny San Diego I doubt you could sweeten the deal that much!

why dont you just get you a PT belt they are 5 bucks at the px, Here in the army all you have to wear is PG and reflective belt which to us is the PT belt just a piece of plastic that has refelector bands all over it. And i am pretty Sure that is DOD wide. Check out the regs as well as your base regs and it should say what you can and cant get away with. Happy riding

When I was in the Marines and rode my bike on base we just used the reflective belt and that was enough. Granted that was 6 years ago.
