Best GPS
for under 200 buckaroos. Anyone have personal experience using any of them? Do brands matter also, cuz newegg has a couple sub100 that Ive never heard of.

Garmin Nuvi 660, sometimes its on sale around 200 , or Garmin Nuvi 350
The family has the 660 apparently it freezes up during blue tooth activation, we also have the 350, so far its been better then the 660. I just bought the new release Garmin Nuvi 265T 3.5", its around $240 at Walmart now best buy doesn't even have it yet lol ...now on sale I think best bang for the buck.... hands down

I researched the living shit out of them before buying a Garmin Nuvi 760. They (and Magellan) use better maps than the Tom Tom and were tested as such. I just bought two more Garmin Nuvi 760's (@ $250 each from Amazon) to give away as Christmas gifts. You won't go wrong with Garmin.

My gf has a garmin nuvi and its the shit. It's gotten us to some remote places super easy.
She's gettin me the mini sized on for xmas/bday, can't wait. I defnitely reccomend that one. Searching for restaurants etc is easy, don't even need the name and it usually comes up with it and it's pretty accurate for eta's and distances.

dad has 2 model garmains , some kind of promo deal where they put like 50 in boxes that say there a certain model but there really a new one.
