all motor or boost???
Ive done an extensive allmotor build and yes it was very expensive to do anything to make any power 220~
It got old very quick.
Turbo is cheaper in a way, and also all around more fun..
All personal pref.
i guess based on a post you can tell its not possiable for me to make them numbers, jus some friendly conversation no need to be a jackass....mg is trash
Its like this really, since everyone is offering opinions and not really comparing the two.
I'm almost finished with my 13.1:1 D series, and I know the ins and outs of boost as well.
It's cheaper to get high compression, but to use it, you need the proper internals and bolt ons.
You have to put a little more into getting a turbo system functional, but you see more in terms of power off the bat. Where as with high compression, you have to earn your power, not just "turn it up".
If you want to go fast, you have to pay for it. The differences just lie in where you have to put the money.

In imports to get a turbo system functional can be just as expensive as a all motor car. From what ive seen it really depends on the type of driving you want to do. Racing at VIR is totaly diffrent then MIR so you would need totaly diffrent engine setups. But if you just want a crazy fast car go TURBO.
Personaly if I had the money I would go with a supercharged built motor or all motor with a nasty ITB setup. Ive heard of them costing A LOT of money but its odd and chances are you will never see another person with the same setup in our area. Turbo hondas seem to just be the norm.
P.S dont shoot for 500hp unless your going to make it into a pure drag car. Its just a pain to fix everything that gonna break. Plus if your goin turbo think about lag. Shoot for around 300 for your first turbo build. It will be alot easier to make and you can keep the car streetable.
P.P.S- K Series FTW
