It scaled the image so that it would fit the proper dimensions, previously 70x70, but now 140x70. It will continue to scale the image so that none of the dimensions exceed the limits. Best bet is to scale the image yourself before uploading so it doesn't end up "squashed" in ways you don't want.

i liked this site better when the avatar and info were on the left side of the page as opposed to bars above the posts...

now i have to "look" for the posts between people's avatars and sigs..
