Just wondering.

I'm taking A1, A2 and A8.

A2 because the info is pretty fresh in my head from my cert class. A1 and A8 because I need them both before I can get hybrid certified.

BTW: who the fuck cares? There is so much more to the vehicle than stupid fucking exhaust tips. How about the transmission that upshifts in .02 seconds (which is actually badass and works well), the 5.0 V8 engine tunned by Yamaha, the brembo 6 piston front calipers, ect ect ect ect ect... No one cares about exhaust tips, its all about the numbers and the fact that car is on par with the new M3. I think thats a milestone considering its lexus' first REAL performance vehicle.

Also, I found out today that one of the IS-F's at my dealer is a demo. I actually got to drive it on dry pavement today. The car is just nasty...
nah it doesnt. They essentially built a tunnel to connect them... look closely.

You forget that this is vadriven, where exhaust tips, wheel painting, and axle back exhausts rule all. This thing will not appeal to most who love the look of the 4-5" tip

I don't know how you can be missing this. yes you posted this...

even though he had just posted...

to break it down further, you post an article saying that the exhaust tips are functional as proof that 1.1 was wrong, but only 2 posts ahead of you he said that they were in fact functional.

and further...

You seem to be defining 'connected' obscurely. Or maybe you think 1.1 is suggesting that theres a 5 foot gap between the exhaust and the tips. I don't know anything about this exhaust other than what's been said in this thread, but here's how I understand it. the tips are mounted in the bumper, and the exhaust basically slides into them or something. 1.1 can correct me if I'm wrong, but you cannot. You do realize that he's a lexus tech and pretty much has to know this kind of stuff? You're just some dude with Google. It seems silly to me to even bother trying to argue about it.

To summarize, don't accuse others of having poor reading skills when that is the very thing that you makes you...

1) I would not buy a car with fake exhaust tips
2) IS F does not have fake exhaust tips
3) It's still ugly

I'd take an e92 over this any day of the week.
