Top Mount vs. Ramhorn
Right now, I have a log manifold. Not only is it ugly, but the previous person stripped out a bolt hole in it and it leaks exhaust...
I'm looking to upgrade turbo and manifold but right now, the turbo manifold comes first. I am debating on the Ramhorn and top mount. Which is better and what's your reasoning behind it?
My setup is a Single Cam turbocharged Mini me. I am in the process of building a motor and this current setup has got to go.

A proper top-mount log style manifold. Why? Faster spool, with a slight reduction in peak #'s. Basically, better powerband! Also, they have fewer problems with high boost levels, and the associated cracking of the welds and such from the pressure and heat. But, if you're going to be racing the dyno, and you want those 10 extra ponies at the very top, go with the tubular mani!

I'm probably going with the Auto-works top mount and the GT35r
Man call inlinepro there log manifolds hold boost levels and make great power. I myself have a top mount manifold from full-race i won't lie it looks good. I also paid for the look it does help making power with the topmount.
If you have a sec there is a 3 min video on youtube with the power differnce of a ram and a log just search full-race manifold it should be the top one. I would like it but I'm working the Internet off my iPhone
I'm not bargain hunting, I did that once...had to do it twice..I want only quality shit now! I'm still doing research, but I'm definatley looking to make a high HP/TQ Single Cam.

Go with a inlinepro cast manifold, they have LIFETIME warrantys against cracking.
And if you want extra power, turn up the boost 1-2 more psi.
