I just picked up me a gsr and the motor mounts are shot. What new ones should I throw in there? Also dont know if it matters but I will be building this car

 

You could always get the prothane mount inserts,instead of paying 3-400 bucks for mounts. they run like 60 bucks a box,and have inserts for the driver side,tranny,and rear mount. i have them in my integra,and they work great. They can be used with damaged mounts like yours. but its your money,your call.

 

IMO buy some nice quality mounts. HaSport streets are perfect.

Plus they are shiny. Shiny = cool.

 

I think I just seen those on ebay for 300$. Is that a good price for those?

 

Used? If so, no.
New? Yes.

Terry "BoostFed" can get really good prices on these mounts. I like to help the locals, but thats just me. It's so hard to beat internet prices.

 

well they where 325 I think. any how. I think I am going to go with those the street ones.

 

Another thing that I like about the HaSports.

You don't have to run the front two torque mounts. I had AC and I hated messing with that bracket when it had the motor mount on it. I took the rod with the thread off of my bracket and kept my ac. Took the torque mount off and sold it, called it a rebate. .

Made removing belts and what not easier.

This was with a all motor setup, if you plan to make 400+ with them, I suggest keeping them with inserts or getting the AVID solid torque mounts. Thats just IMO though.
