ok here's the deal.
the ca just randomly decided not to start. i left the dome light on for about four hours. but the thing is everything works but the car just will not start.. and now when i turn the car on the battery light pops on. so if you guys have any helo or adcie that would be very helpful.

Get a multimeter and test the battery. If its in the 11's its a bad battery . If its around the 12.40 its 70 percent charged

ok we got it to start via push start so i think it may be the starter

If the engine clicks when you turn the key, it could be the starter as long as the battery is reading at least 12.4 volts. If the engine doesn't click its most likely the starter solenoid, which is located right by the starter on most vehicles 96 and newer. Hope this helps.

After you got it started, did you let it run for a while? If so, did it start afterwards on its own?
