theres a black honda civic with greenish headlights thats constantly up and down my street. i called the police, but of course they dont do anything. good thing i had a shotgun and a baseball bat to stand out on the porch with when he walked circles around my car.

I was at my friends house last night and someone tried to break into the house 2 days ago and failed. I think they came back last night and were just parked outside the house in the street looking at our cars in the driveway(there is no parking in the street by the way) while we looked at them through the window, they were in the street sitting in the van so we called the cops and they said they were really busy with other calls and it didnt SEEM life Threatening. If those Idiots got outta the van it would have been life threatening for them, i can tell you that. I have no respect for cops anymore.

sorry about your friend's loss.
Here's a little trick that may help people who get their wheels stolen in the future:
Before you get tires mounted on the rims, tape on an obvious note on the rim with your name, number and address. If the theif or the person who bought the stolen wheels get new tires or whatever, the tire installer will see the note and hopfully will follow the instructions of contacting you without notifying the person who brought them in. It may help catch who stole the rims.

whats the world coming to now adays just to keep some jerkoff from jacking your shit you need: Wheel locks , security system, taking your ecu with you so they cant start the car and that doesnt even work.... a friend of mine got his car stolen by a tow truck....guess the thieves had a friend with a tow truck took it far away from the scene and dismantled the car taking everything they could salvage

Cops are chartered to protect life, not property. They are citizens hired by other citizens to help enforce the laws. Sucks, but very true. That's why there are security guards and insurance companies.
Two guys were sitting in a van with binoculars and a notepad over a year ago in my neighborhood. I put a little red laser dot on the driver's forehead. Passenger noticed it, they left very quickly and were never seen since. My neighborhood is very safe, no one is stupid enough to try to steal from me.
