I have eibach sportline springs on there now. I was thinking about getting the eibach shocks to go with them, but morris told me konis were better. Any opinions?

Koni shocks are the best you will probably ever find for your teg. They have the widest range of dampening out of any JDM pre assmebled coilovers and are comparable with Blistien. They are used on F1 cars, NASCAR cars, IRL cars, and it goes on.

Again, theres a huge thread on Koni's shock dyno on Honda Tech (2004 or 2005 i think?) where they compare with quite a few different coilovers out there.

Dude get yourself a nice set of coilovers. Then I would save for a turbo setup. I'd be willing to help if you need it.

The best bang for the buck by far is nitrous - for less than $500 you can add 50hp to the car. Lower heat range plugs and a good kit that adjusts fuel regular pressure dynamically (look at Zex kits) is a safe, easy and cheap way to add some decent power. Just save up some money for items that will wear more quickly due to the added power (mainly the clutch.)

I KNOW you seriously did not just recoomend some fucking Pro 2s on a stock lsvtec.

If pro1s are good enough to make 280 all motor on a b-series, then they are more than enough to make 200 on a NA 81.5mm lsvtec.

Jesus. People are choosing too big of a cam now a days. Even a pro1 is sometimes too big of a cam.

Turbo it dude. Get crome or hondata on your ecu. and a basic setup. Make 250-260 and have fun.

I didn't fucker, I mentioned the compression would need to be increased, relatively significantly. But I did not say that you would want to upgrade the valvetrain as well.

But your still recommending a cam that is TOO big for a street application.

And its only natural that you add compression if you hope to make around 200. People have broke 190-200 on stock compression, but its hard.

I was coming back in to mention...you might as well just go with the ITR valvetrain for a street setup. That should be able to get you to that 200whp mark correct? I was brushing my teeth, and was like "Damn, just get the entire ITR valvetrain, would be hella lot easier to tune and make the power they want."
