let make a car specific thread(dsmers)
Yeah, i guess when they do it at 2am then not many people are out...or if they're smart about it they run a detour sign at the exit right before where they race - that keeps people happy at least and not pissed off that they're waiting and cant go anywhere haha. And blocking it for 5-10 minutes or so is probably quick enough for them to run then get out of there before cops.

If you ever watch stunt videos, you'll often see them blocking off the freeway with 100+ bikes while the bikes in the front stunt. Same concept with street racing in big cities like that. You go in organized with a plan, and typically no one gets hurt or in trouble. It's illegal, but it's certainly better than racing from redlight to redlight on a high traffic road somewhere. Although it's dangerous to stop traffic behind them, at least they're not running with the potential of hitting other cars in the process.
honestly though,i was kind of put off by how little they knew about Honda stuff in general(after i was told by several people that they're the most knowledgable around here on import work).i ended up sending the H22 block to Golden Eagle in California-it costs a little more, but they definitely know what they're doing.
any machine shop should be able to do a simple overbore.for more complicated work,i'd send it to a shop that specializes in DSM stuff.

aren't the 4G63s iron blocks though?

i've heard good things about Hudson's.i took them two blocks about two months ago.they called back to tell me they couldn't bore the H22 block(it has FRM liners).they're working on overboring, honing, decking and align-honing a B18 block for me.should be getting it next week,so i'll report on the work.

Anyways,
You've proved my point - I haven't seen the movie enough to remember the colors of the cars, thats for sure!
At the start of the movie that is what they are doing is blocking off the roads for the race with detour signs and cones.
