Re: let make a car specific thread(dsmers)
102.97 on that pass, which makes the 6.7 second ET to me that much more impressive considering I had only a 1.68 60' which is very slow for a built DSM auto. In reality with proper AF and timing I should be around 110-112mph. I had some major stall issues at the track that night, which if I had a good file hosing website I would show why (surge port on my compressor housing opened up majorly), so I was too busy worrying about getting the damn thing to even stall up at the track. I had tested the stall out the week prior just about every day in preparation but as the surge port opened up more and more it was getting progressively worse, and ultimately it became complete shit at the track. I didnt know that was the issue as it didnt show up under boost leak tests, etc. Finally I went to pull the turbo after the track day to check the turbine wheel/housing, thinking that it could be the cause of my major lag but good topend, only to notice the compressor housing completely seperated.

Another random video from that night. Again, the car wasnt stalling up so I just rolled through the line, got pissed off at the car, and then floored it.

The stall issue should be taken care of with the new compressor housing that is pinned together so that it wont seperate. I think the car has a 6.2-6.3 in it the way it stands. The goal has been to make it a complete street car that is fully capable of running 9's on the same settings I run everyday.
